Logo Design & Branding: Rooted Life Montessori
Rooted Life is a Montessori school for children age 3-12 in Alvarado, TX. They wanted a logo and branding that would reflect the strong educational foundation of their program, playing up how strong roots help the student to grow and foster the learning process.
Additionally, the wanted to use a cursive style of font because the cursive style is a valuable skill that’s still being taught in their school, even though it’s been dropped in public school.
In the end we created a relatively literal brand that emphasized how the Montessori education techniques are the foundation for the roots the students acquire at Rooted Life, but this school in particular is able to build on that foundation for an education that helps the student to grow and flourish beyond basic learning.
